Ideal for quick-service and casual restaurants, the MoTak KT-MIH-500 ice machine head makes half-cube ice?an ice type that’s ideal for soft drinks, frozen blended smoothies, and cocktails. Over a 24-hour period in ideal conditions, the unit can make as much as 513 pounds of ice. Its condenser is air cooled, meaning it uses fans to move fresh air across the condensers to keep it from overheating. This eliminates the need for additional water lines with water-cooled units or refrigerant lines with remote-cooled units. All the components of this ice maker are self-contained, and the front-hinged panel provides convenient cleaning and servicing access.
Compatible with a MoTak ice bin, the MoTak KT-MIH-500 commercial ice maker is a head-only unit that requires the purchase of a separate bin; when paired with the bin, this ice maker powers the lid-activated LED lighting. The head comes with digital controls for user-friendly programmability and a digital status screen. Sized for bin compatibility, this ice maker measures 30 inches wide by 243/5 inches deep by 21 inches tall.
